Executive functions are the invisible conductors of your days. This questionnaire doesn’t “grade” you: it gives you a profile — what’s rather a strength, what costs you. Answer thinking of an ordinary period, not your best or worst day.
~4 min. This is an orientation, not a diagnosis — the result is meant to share with a professional. Your answers stay on your device.
MoodTrakr orientation questionnaire (2026), areas from the neuropsychological literature (Diamond 2013) and ICD-11 (WHO) / DSM-5-TR (APA) criteria. Not clinically validated. BRIEF® is a trademark of PAR: no PAR content is reproduced.
What is this test for?
It explores six everyday areas: inhibition (holding back), working memory (holding in mind), planning and organisation, initiation (getting started), flexibility (adapting), and emotional regulation with self-monitoring. The result is descriptive, area by area.
Who is it for?
For adults and teenagers who want to understand where their strengths and their costly points lie. Executive difficulties often accompany ADHD, but also fatigue, anxiety or low mood.
How does it work?
You answer 18 statements (an agreement scale), three per area. For each area, the profile shows “rather a strength”, “variable” or “costly day to day” — and, if needed, points you to in-depth ADHD, twice-exceptionality or the mood and anxiety tests. No overall score. Everything is computed in your browser.
The science behind this test
The areas chosen reflect the neuropsychological literature on executive functions (Diamond, 2013) and the ICD-11 / DSM-5-TR frameworks. Only a neuropsychological assessment truly measures these functions: a self-questionnaire describes a felt sense, it does not measure. The BRIEF-2 / BRIEF-A inventories (PAR) are the proprietary reference tools — they are not reproduced here.
Full transparency
A MoodTrakr orientation questionnaire, built from the cited criteria and literature. It does not replace professionals’ tools (BRIEF-2, BRIEF-A) or a neuropsychological assessment, and makes no diagnosis. Executive difficulties are not a disorder in themselves: sleep, stress, anxiety or low mood amplify them greatly. BRIEF® is a trademark of PAR.
—MoodTrakr orientation questionnaire, not validated: it describes a felt experience, it does not measure your executive functions.
—Executive difficulties are not a disorder in themselves: sleep, stress, anxiety or low mood amplify them a lot — that is what to explore first.
—No overall score, no diagnostic threshold: only a neuropsychological assessment objectifies these functions.
The reference tests used by professionals
This questionnaire replaces none of the tools used in consultation. Here are the ones professionals actually use:
BRIEF-2 / BRIEF-A (PAR) — proprietary executive-function inventories (parent/teacher/self forms) — we do not reproduce them
Neuropsychological assessment — the only evaluation that truly objectifies executive functions, with a neuropsychologist
Frequently asked questions
Does this test diagnose a disorder?
No. It draws a descriptive profile, with no overall score or threshold. Only a neuropsychological assessment, with a professional, objectively measures executive functions.
What is the link with ADHD?
Executive difficulties often accompany ADHD, but not only. If attention and impulsivity stand out, the result points you to the in-depth ADHD questionnaire.
Does it reproduce the BRIEF?
No. The BRIEF-2 and BRIEF-A (PAR) are proprietary inventories we do not reproduce. Our items are 100% original and explore only general areas.
Is it confidential?
Yes. Your answers are processed only in your browser and are not sent to any server.
