Take the test now

Think about the past 6 months and indicate how often each situation applies to you. The first 6 questions produce the ASRS screening result; the following ones are unscored prompts.

This validated clinical questionnaire is shown in French, to stay faithful to the original instrument. The rest of the page is in your language.

~5 min. This is an orientation, not a diagnosis — the result is meant to share with a professional. Your answers stay on your device.

What is this test for?

This test flags signs consistent with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in adults: difficulty getting organised, staying focused, finishing what you start, inner restlessness. It is an orientation, not a verdict.

Who is it for?

For any adult who recognises these everyday difficulties, or who has been wondering for a long time. ADHD often coexists with mood disorders — which is why MoodTrakr offers it alongside the other screeners.

How does it work?

You answer 18 questions about the past 6 months (a frequency scale). We apply the official ASRS Part A scoring to the first 6 questions, then show the 12 additional questions as unscored discussion prompts. Nothing is sent to a server: everything is computed on your device.

The science behind this test

The ASRS v1.1 (Adult ADHD Self-Report Scale) was developed by the World Health Organization with R. C. Kessler. Part A (6 items) is the validated screen: a threshold of at least 4 marked answers warrants a fuller evaluation. Part B is a discussion support, without a diagnostic threshold.

The reference tests used by professionals

This questionnaire replaces none of the tools used in consultation. Here are the ones professionals actually use:

  • Entretien clinique structuré (DIVA-5)l’entretien diagnostique de référence du TDAH adulte, mené par un·e professionnel·le
  • Évaluation psychiatrique complètele diagnostic reste clinique : anamnèse, retentissement, diagnostics différentiels

Frequently asked questions

Is this ADHD test a diagnosis?

No. It is a screen: it points you in a direction, but only a psychiatrist or doctor can make a diagnosis, after a full evaluation. A positive result is simply an invitation to talk to a professional.

Is the test really free and anonymous?

Yes. The test is free, no sign-up, and your answers are processed only in your browser — they are not sent to any server. If you wish, you can then save your result, encrypted, in the app.

How long does the test take?

About 5 minutes: 6 scored questions, followed by 12 unscored prompts about your experience over the past 6 months.

What should I do with a positive result?

Set it calmly aside and talk it over with a health professional. MoodTrakr also offers gentle tools for attention and organisation in daily life.
